Post-Overdose Support
Anyone 18 and older who has survived an overdose.
This program is currently available in Springfield and Holyoke, with expansion underway.
Post-overdose support is referral-based. A referral can come from a hospital, first responder, harm reduction site, or another care provider.
Once a referral is received, Tapestry’s outreach coordinator typically reaches out within 24 to 72 hours of the overdose.
If you or someone you know wants to connect with this program, call us, and we can help initiate a referral.
Your initial contact will be 15 to 30 minutes.
The outreach coordinator will check in on how you’re doing, provide Narcan and harm reduction supplies, and let you know what resources are available, including treatment options and social services.
There is no requirement to engage with any of these services. Ongoing support is available as long as you need it.
