You don’t have to use drugs to carry Naloxone. Free Narcan and overdose reversal training is available to anyone at Tapestry’s Harm Reduction sites, Health Clinics, and the Mobile Health Van.

Tapestry offers a full range of preventive sexual and reproductive health screenings, including Pap Smears, pelvic exams, breast cancer screenings, HPV vaccines, and referrals for mammograms and colposcopies.

Who Is This For?

Anyone of any age. You do not need to use drugs to carry Narcan or attend a training.

This service is for people who use drugs, their family members, friends, coworkers, and neighbors. Anyone who may witness an overdose. The more people who carry Narcan, the more lives can be saved.

How to Access This Service

Walk into any Tapestry Harm Reduction site, Health Clinic, or the Mobile Health Van during operating hours. No appointment, no ID, and no questions are required.

Pickup takes 5 to 15 minutes.

Training sessions run 15 to 30 minutes.

What To Bring

Nothing! This service is completely free and requires no paperwork, ID, or insurance.

What To Expect

Tapestry Staff will provide you with free Narcan nasal spray and walk you through how to recognize the signs of an overdose and how to administer Narcan safely.

You’ll also receive information about fentanyl awareness. If you want a more in-depth training session, the staff can provide that too.

If you or someone you know needs additional support, Tapestry can connect you with post-overdose services and referrals to medical care or treatment programs.

What About Calling 911 In The Event Of An Emergency?

Massachusetts has a Good Samaritan Law that provides legal protection to people who call 911 during an overdose.

Tapestry encourages everyone to call 911 in addition to administering Narcan.
