Emergency Contraception

Emergency contraception is available up to 5 days after unprotected sex, as a pill or IUD, with walk-in availability and no prescription required. Free condoms and safer sex supplies are also available at every location.

Emergency Contraception

Emergency contraception (EC) can prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure, like a broken condom or missed birth control pill. EC can be used up to 5 days (120 hours) after unprotected sex, but the sooner you take it, the more effective it is.

Tapestry provides this care with complete confidentiality and respect for your decision. Call your preferred Health Clinic with any age-related questions or additional support.

Free condoms, latex barriers, and other safer sex supplies are also available at every Tapestry clinic on a walk-in basis. No appointment or ID needed.
