Donate to Tapestry Health

Your donation is vital to the work we do at Tapestry Health.

Tapestry health relies on private donations to bridge the gap between funding from state and federal sources and the real cost of providing critical services. Your support allows us to keep client fees low and health centers open, so that we can continue to reach those most in need. Tapestry Health is a 501(c)3 corporation and your gift is tax deductible to the extent allowable by Federal Law.

A Contribution of	Pays For
$20	Emergency contraception to help a woman prevent pregnancy up to 72 hours after unprotected sex.
$60	A three-month supply of birth control pills.
$65	An HIV Test and safer sex counseling
$90	An overdose prevention workshop for injection drug users
$125	An annual gynecological exam, including pap smear and breast exam
$250	Nine months of nutritious food for a baby in our Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program
$450	25 hours of outreach to educate gay men about their health risks

Designated Gifts

An unrestricted gift allows us to allocate funds as needed to support all our programs and services. However, if you prefer, your gift can be designated to support any of our programs:

Matching Gifts

If the company you work for offers matching gifts, you can double your contribution easily by filling out your company's form and sending it in with your gift.

Contributions to Tapestry Health can be made in memory of a loved one or friend, or in honor of a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion. Quarterly & Monthly Giving

A small gift, donated on a regular basis will add up to a substantial contribution over the course of the year.

Gifts of Securities

These are a great way to support Tapestry Health while providing you with a tax deduction for the current, full market value of the securities. The tax advantages of giving stock hold true whether you give a few shares or many.

Each year we compile a Wish List of items that are needed for our programs. If you can donate or help us find donations of any of these items, please call Tapestry Health at (413) 586-2016.

Bequests

A bequest is a gift made at death through a will or trust. Usually, it is the donor's most generous charitable donation, the one that provides the greatest satisfaction and which is the largest in value.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

EFT allows you to make a gift electronically. You may also find that you can make a larger gift when it is spread out over time. With your authorization, on the same day each month (usually the 1st) we will automatically debit your account in the amount you've designated. At any time you desire, you can change your authorization. You always retain control throughout the process.
