Community Outreach
ABOUT
Tapestry Health provides safer sex education, HIV testing, and other outreach services in communities throughout Western Massachusetts.
Over the course of a day, we might offer substance abuse counseling in an inner-city neighborhood during the afternoon, rapid-HIV testing that night outside a popular bar, and prepare to educate students at a rural school about safer sex the next morning. An evening spent providing STI screening on a college campus might follow a gay pride parade, educational conference, construction site, or community cultural event.

Occassionally, our outreach team travels in our Mobile Health Van, equipped with private counseling rooms, to conduct rapid HIV testing.
