We maintain sites throughout Western Massachusetts for the many roles in our agency. Currently, we have the following positions available:

 

Quality Assurance RN Director
HOURS: 30-40 hours/week
MANAGER: Chief Program Officer

Under the direction of the Chief Program Officer, the QA Director oversees and monitors the quality improvement and compliance of all clinical programs and services of Tapestry Health. Maintains current knowledge of regulations to ensure compliance with licensing and clinical protocols. Investigates unusual occurrence reports, patient complaints/care issues and other related issues. Tracks, monitors and evaluates all reportable disease, infections and all Infection Control issues, as well as compliance with contracted performance measures through the electronic medical record system. This 30-40 hour a week position will be based out of the administrative offices in Florence with travel to our locations in Springfield, Holyoke, Northampton, Amherst, Greenfield, and Pittsfield.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Leadership
1. Provide leadership and monitoring of the development of special projects and initiatives including implementation of new systems (clinical and administrative), pilot projects, and research projects, including the development and on-going implementation of meaningful use of EHR.
2. Supervise Health Services Managers, to include recruitment, training and on-going supervision.
3. Work closely with the CPO and Health Services Managers in determining staff training needs and assist with the implementation of individual and group training programs as related to Quality Improvement, Compliance and Infection Control.
Quality Improvement and Compliance
4. Coordinate and support the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of continuous quality improvement and organizational excellence in areas of quality of care and service, compliance, key performance indicators, and provider and client satisfaction.
5. Continuously monitor overall quality improvement program to identify trends, prioritize and recommend improvements, and ensure MDPH, Title X and other regulatory agency compliance.
6. Consult regularly with the Medical Director and collaborate on the development and implementation of medical protocols, medical policies & procedures, the drug formulary, quality assurance/quality improvement issues and new medical services and procedure
7. Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk. Develop internal plan to address risk. Work closely with clinical and senior leadership to implement new policies, practices, procedures.
8. Track all unusual occurrences and patient complaints, identify and report trends. Participate in the development and execution of Corrective Action Plans with appropriate managers and staff. Report results to Quality Committee.
9. Coordinate a systemic process for clinical record review. Conduct audits and chart reviews as mandated by MDPH, Title X, SAMHSA and other funders.
Planning and Oversight
10. Coordinate the development and implementation of plans, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to Quality and Compliance.
11. Participate as a member of the Quality Committee and compile quarterly Quality Report.
12. Serve as the chairperson to the Safety Committee; coordinate regular Infection Control Inspections of all areas, develop Corrective Action Plans as needed and report findings to the Safety Committee and the Quality Committee (Health Services Managers).
13. Participate in the development of Clinical Policies.
Other duties
14. Attend and conduct meetings as needed
15. Act as liaison between the agency and external vendors providing medical/laboratory services
16. Perform other duties as assigned

 

Position requirements:
• Current nursing license from the Massachusetts Nursing Board of Registration; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited program required, Master or Doctorate degree preferred.
• Three years or more of direct patient care and clinical experience, women’s health preferred
• Three years or more of supervisory/staff management experience
• Experience in data retrieval, data analysis, statistics, forms design, quality improvement techniques and knowledge of regulatory, compliance and quality improvement procedures in a healthcare setting required.
• Experience with implementation and use of electronic health records
• Passion for the mission and goals of the agency
• Excellent written & oral communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Part-Time Counselor - Amherst/Greenfield

Join our team and make a difference! Tapestry Health is a non-profit organization that provides a range of essential services throughout Western Massachusetts, with a focus on family planning and reproductive health care. We are currently seeking a part-time Counselor for our Amherst and Greenfield sites for 28 hours per week which includes Saturdays.

Duties: Provide counseling to clients regarding reproductive health issues, contraceptive issues, HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases, routine testing and screening, and breast and testicular self-exams. Ability to draw blood and do finger sticks.

Qualifications: Minimum 2-year Associate’s degree; one year of relevant experience; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse clientele and staff. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus!

Compensation: $13.18 Per Hour

Substitute Clinician (NP/PA/CNM) - Western MA

 

Join our team and make a difference! Tapestry Health is a non-profit organization that provides a range of essential services throughout Western Massachusetts, with a focus on family planning and reproductive health care. We are currently seeking Substitute Clinicians (NP,PA.CNM) to fill in at our various sites throughout Western, Mass. Locations include: Holyoke, Springfield, Northampton, Amherst, Greenfield and Pittsfield.  Hours, locations and frequency will vary based on need. No minimum required sub hours per month and the ability to travel to all sites is not necessary.  Travel reimbursement is provided.

 

Minimum Required Qualifications: NP/PA/CNM License to practice in the state of Massachusetts, Board certified, ability to work with diverse clientele and staff, good interpersonal skills and a team mentality is a must! At least one year of clinical experience and knowledge of women's health care is required.

Compensation: $35.00 per hour
